Understanding Inquiry Structure
Core Lessons are required to meet established module objectives and content standards. Extension Lessons are optional and allow students to explore concepts more deeply, build interdisciplinary connections, activate place based resources, or use specific technological tools.
Every Inquiry begins with a Hook lesson. Students are introduced to the Inquiry Question that frames the unit and engage in a learning experience designed to spark curiosity and launch the investigation.
The Action Module appears at the end of each Inquiry. It includes a sequence of lessons that guide students through a design process to create a product and take informed action.
