Welcome to the Elmhurst D205 University InquirED Course

Thank you for joining our Pilot D205 University course in partnership with InquirED. Our course structure is designed to support your knowledge and continued growth in specific activities and teaching practices and provide an opportunity to implement new learning with your colleagues and students.

We are excited to offer a structured learning path that includes self-paced asynchronous learning designed to enhance your skills and instructional effectiveness.

Program Overview

Between September 16 and December 16, all D205U participants enrolled in this course are expected to complete the activities outlined in our Course Syllabus to qualify for lane credit or other compensation.

Important Guidelines

• Completion Window: Activities 1-3 outlined in our course syllabus must be completed between September 16 and December 16.

• Certification Requirements: Certificates of completion will be generated for each InquirED course and will appear in your inquirED profile.

  • Reports will run on Tuesday, October, 14 and Tuesday, November, 18 as a way to monitor progress as you advance through the courses you’ve selected.

• To qualify for compensation, teachers must ensure their certificate of completion is accounted for in their Profile. If your certificate does not appear Monday, December 14, please email a copy of your emailed certificate to nstoyas@elmhurst205.org.

• Compensation Eligibility: As outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement, only teachers who complete ALL activities within the specified timeframe will be eligible for compensation.

• Extended Learning: You are encouraged to continue your professional growth by taking additional courses past the deadline, but note that any courses completed after December 16 will not qualify for course credit and compensation.

Steps to Get Started

1. Enroll in the Courses: Access your dashboard and register for each required course.

2. Complete and Certify: Ensure each course is fully completed, which includes clicking the submit button at the end of each course once you have completed your work.

3. Confirm Your Credentials: Ensure your certificate of completion appears in your inquirED profile by clicking on your avatar in the top right corner, then going to My Learning and selecting Credentials in the left menu.
